Kids - The Features

The Features - from Nashville, Tennessee - in all their plaid shirt wearing, mountain man beard growing glory. Even though they’re from Nashville, they’re far from country. Matt Pelham’s guitar playing in the beginning gets your attention immediately, Roger Dabbs and Rollum Haas keep it going with the bass and drums, and Mark Bond adds his keyboard expertise on the pre-choruses. Matt Pelham’s gravelly voice is the icing on the cake.  

It only goes for about 2 and a half minutes, but that’s really all you need. When they play it live though, it’s so much more awesome, because they go five times faster than this here studio recording. So then you’re standing there at the end of the song going, “What just happened?”
